The FAQ pages says they are working on an extension cable adapter, but it will probably take some development time to design one to either work with the liquid cooling or with a built in chip to reduce the power or do some sort of smart temperature based power reduction.

Because people make EV charging harder than it needs to be and it’s almost comical in USA.

Ridiculous and Aspirational “lifestyle” merchandise is hardly unique to Tesla. Take a glance at the Porsche Boutique for completely over-the-top stuff. They once sold paperclips shaped like a 911!

I think the bigger issue is that every Tesla has GPS tracking. You aren’t getting very far.

Yeah I mean I hate to agree with Tesla, but the driver was paying NO attention at all, if there are interior cameras I would 100% bet their head was buried in their phone. I wouldn’t trust FSD on a good day, but less a quite foggy one like in the video.

These are the ONLY time I side with Tesla. Glad the guy didn’t die or anything, but this is his fault 🤣

Two things can be true:

I know for some reason we ain’t wild about Teslas here but for being roughly 150K less expensive and at a 380lb ft deficit in power, losing by a third of a second seems.......pretty insignificant?

Half of this country is financially illiterate. Nothing new. It’s the same as people paying $2k/month for a fully loaded pick up truck, and asking for gofundme help. Or people taking out loans to pay for weddings.

I saw one wrapped hot pink a couple of weeks ago, it was cool looking. Though, I would have thought it had a bit more power than it does.

I completely agree. But maybe for the right person who does not do much driving, it could be actionable. ICE used car prices are still pretty much up there.

For anyone out there who decides to start scouring Autotrader for used Teslas or other EVs - an important note. A lot of dealers are listing used EVs with the $4000 federal rebate (for vehicles under $25k) included. They spell it out in the notes of the ad, but it’s a big distinction that makes searching a little…

Said by someone who tried to rich overnight or has no money or has never planned and saved for their future and for sure knows nothing about investing and likely keeps what they do have under their mattress (or the equivalent) for safekeeping.

It’s bad enough when I walk into a store and they already are selling products for a holiday that’s still over a month away.

Why is Jalopnik so Tesla centered lately? For every 1 auto article, I have to filter through 27 Tesla articles.  We get it already. 

Must one declare their political affiliation at the time of purchase? Otherwise, how is this data accurately collected?
