Must one declare their political affiliation at the time of purchase? Otherwise, how is this data accurately collected?

If the manufacturer is not held liable in the courts (all of ‘em) for releasing / promoting dangerous “features” then maybe the solution is to sue the living hell out of the drivers AND THEIR INSURANCE AGENCIES.

Maybe if enough $$$ pain is applied then insurance rates for cars with those features will rise to the

This was just adaptive cruise not FSD and pretty much every manufacturer’s adaptive cruise is bad at avoiding motorcycles. Ford Edge ST with adaptive and lane keeping will still freak out about motorcycles.

Based on how often I see people using their phones and veering into my lane in cars without any driver assists, I’m perfectly happy to have these systems in vehicles as long as they are highway-only and have very robust eye tracking to check for attention. Autopilot’s lack of eye tracking has always been its biggest

I’ve recently given up my Miata because I’m too busy watching for people crossing double yellows out in the country to have any fun. I’m sure half are on their phones. The other half have no business driving if they can’t navigate a 50 mph two lane road that a school bus can safely traverse every day.

I have a Model 3 that currently has the 30 day FSD trial.

Put down the goddamn phone and drive your fucking car.

No it’s not get outta here.

Most modern cars with automated lights, park sensors, and wipers require you to turn them off before going through a car wash. Tesla just made those 3 toggles a single button.

Car wash mode just closes all windows, locks the charge port, and disables windshield wipers, Sentry Mode, walk-away door locking, and parking sensor chimes.

Between this meh-appearing hatchback with its Blade Runner-ish details that don’t click at all and the jaw-droppingly gorgeous Charger EV coupe and sedan with equal performance and probably equal price:

Are buyers rejecting EV or rejecting EV pricing?

Laden or not, our gasser F250 would need at least 4 fuel stops, filling both tanks so an electric sounds pretty appealing. Though a hybrid HD pickup with 8' bed would be mighty fine.

To me, it’s frustrating...
