I can take or leave the format where past winners gush about current nominees, but I do wish they would show clips of the nominated performances. If the whole point is to celebrate the movies, let’s see some movies!

There was a little bit of mumbling early on, but generally the dialogue was just fine.

The author’s pissy attitude about a joke about Killers of the Flower Moon being long is dumb and self-defeating. Particularly his grouchiness that we need to devote more time to movies about the “long, painful trail of genocide that runs throughout the world.”

Emma Stone gave a brilliant, deserving performance. It's very shitty that The AV Club made an article for all of the major category winners except for Stone.

I think the Batman bit was possibly made even better by that ascot Michael Keaton wore, which just made him look like ‘60s-era Bruce Wayne.

Stone certainly has the leg up (pun!) over Gladstone by being a tour de force in Poor Thing, she carries the movie front and center. While Gladstone was a great revelation, she also part of the large ansemble of esteemed actors doing great acting in that movie. That dimmed the spotlight on her a bit.

Haven’t seen the film, but the voices seemed audible in the trailers. Tsk, tsk, Nolan. That’s not what the fans expect.

Sure but using the word “snubbed” gets clicks.

Sure, there were snubs (Lily Gladstone)

The Batman skit and Ryan Gosling’s performance of I’m Just Ken were the two highlights of the night for me. Al Pacino’s moment was painful - he’s clearly not entirely with us anymore, and bringing him out was a bad choice.

Yeah, that’s a weird thing to say. There are plenty of YouTubers who are horrible, because of course. But my YouTube is subscribed to dozens of really incredible channels of all various educational styles and fields, and many of them I watch with my six year old niece. She absolutely adores Tom Scott, for one, as well

That’s not really my point. I wouldn’t have expected the CT to “win” regardless.

We have also seen video of a Cybertruck pulling another truck in a tug of war.  the only difference was that in that one the Cybertruck started moving forward first. So the only difference here is that the other truck started moving forward first.  It's clearly not that the Cybertruck can't tug, the only difference is

Lots of times, but I'm fairly certain that with all the computer controls on modern cars you would not be able to do that.

No Idea, but hill hold technology is a thing.  I've driven off-road haul trucks that have it.  An inclinometer senses if the vehicle is on an incline so if you apply the brakes it locks them on.  Vehicle will not roll back at all.  If you put it in reverse to continue down the incline it will release the brakes.  If

Is that a stock Silverado HD? Sure doesn’t look it. I’m fairly certain that truck was always going to be successful there.

Hey look a logical answer to what is actually going on instead of the mentally ill dumbasses at joplkink just spewing complete nonsense. It’s obvious that once the settings are dialed in with the right conditions, then what Tesla showed is accurate as has already been proven before many times. Of course when that

Almost like different makers make different decisions.

Not sure how the CT works, but in other Teslas the wheels lock when you’re at a stop and stay locked even if you take your foot off the brake, they almost never roll back the way a manual or even most auto transmission ICEs can

I’m not going to give a YouTuber the clicks, but based on what is shown/stated here, the Cybertruck would not pull once the Silverado was already pulling the Cybertruck backwards. That seems to be a logical safety for an electric motor vehicle where the motors are presumably rotating in the direction required for the
