This is how we speak about music now, I guess. ‘Good business decisions’. Pure cynicism, and folks like AVC are fine with it.

I’ve heard both and it’s still the furthest thing from “country” I’ve ever heard (that’s country). Texas Hold Em sound solidly gospel to me, it even has the call and response. 16 Carriages has an odd rhythm and is one of the kind of plaintive songs you’d hear on her fifth studio album Beyonce. The only thing country

It didn’t escalate into an arrest, it started as one. As soon as the security guard made the (probably dumb) decision to perform a civil arrest, the rest was inevitable. Cal. Penal Code section 142 makes it a crime for an officer to refuse to receive someone who has been arrested by a civilian.

Yes a white person would have been arrested. It was a citizen’s arrest. Regardless of whether the police wanted to take Killer Mike into custody they are required by law to do it. (Taking him into custody does not mean to jail him.)

Post Malone has more tattoos than Robert DeNiro did in Cape Fear (and Max Cady was still savvy enough not to get tattoos where a judge could see them).

They’re the biggest rock band in the world, with a new song (which is...fine). No way they’re not playing.

But what happened here is that the security guard (the alleged victim) initiated a citizen’s arrest, and the police are (according to them) bound then to effectuate that arrest.

I don’t know that hypotheticals like this do a lot of good, because we just fill the empty space with whatever our preexisting beliefs are. The answer to your question is that we don’t know, because that didn’t happen.

There is no You Can’t Arrest Me at a Fancy Party rule.  Arguing otherwise is following the same logic of Trump’s assertions about his criminal cases -- that he’s just too famous or important to be treated under the same rules as everybody else.

Of course, why wouldn’t he?

The 13% gonna 60%.

Perhaps they want to attract viewers over 40? I like some of the younger artists, but Joni Mitchell, U2, and Billy Joel fit my demographic way better.

The Grammy’s are supposed to benefit the music industry, not the musicians.

and Apple recalls all iPhones ever made every few months...

Can we just call it “The fookie?”

I tried the churro and pretzel last weekend.

The churro was great, with a chew on the inside and a crispiness on the outside that was tons better than Costco’s old churros.

But the pretzel needs work. The ends were rock hard (when I bit into one, my daughter thought my tooth had broken because the crunch was so loud)

Starred for Prince, tolerated for Beyonce. I honestly don’t have her top 5.

Prince's show was a thousand times better than Beyonce's, but Ms. Knowles deserved the silver medal.

Ya’ll scared of the beyhive? Prince is #1 and it’s not close.
