Okay found a better written article on another site. She hit a vehicle, which just happened to be a police SUV, and then ran. And, when she was “cornered” she backed into another police vehicle. Granted the cop should not have shot at her like he did, but don’t make her out to be some innocent grandmother either.

California considers vehicles deadly weapons, so it wouldn’t shock me if the first clip is ruled justified even under their recently changed use of force standards, especially with the cop’s narration about being “rammed”.
