FSU could genuinely believe that they were in the right and would have won the case, but it comes down to cost. 950,000 to end this now, 2,000,000 to fight it and win, 2,950,000 to fight it and lose.…

It’s ongoing. Right now, they’ve got a mediation conference/hearing scheduled for July.

FSU, of course, denies any responsibility for the ENORMOUS role they played in obstructing the investigation into this case. However, the depositions taken in this case were already so, so, so, incredibly damaging that it’s obvious why they would wantout of this case ASAP.
