"I bet you're just DYING to know what the surprise is..."

It seems like all the best astrophysics information on the internet come from webpages that look like they came from the mid 1990's.

Only two words can describe what we all know we want to see in the next Mass Effect game.

I can see the ads now. Beefy dude in the gym working out. Turns to the camera. "Do you have the BALLS to pee on a stick?"

If you think the 8 minutes figure is neat, consider that a majority of the light emitted by the Sun is generated in its core, and that due to it's density, it can take anywhere from 4,000 years to 100,000 years for a photo to reach the surface. (Drunkards walk problem.)

The boltgun (Promethean pistol) overload is fabulous up-close. You have to time the charge right though cause it doesn't hold like the plasma pistol does.

Nothing escapes that crosses the event horizon. (Actually there is something strange that happens here but you'll need to research that later.)

From experience Andrew is correct. At least my dogs will readily tear apart and sometimes partially consume an egg carton.

It actually makes the hologram very multi functional.

Hardly. At present our understanding of physics precludes the ability of anything with mass to move at the speed of light and additionally that nothing at all can move faster than the speed of light.

I still remember when they trotted Joshua out in an Observers suit.

I liked the ones that Perfume wears for Spring of Life. I think the connector panel in the back really seals the deal.

Damn, struck by Makoto law number 14. Any Ghost in the Shell reference in combination with GtiS imagery will produce a mental itch that can only be scratched by watching GtiS or Innocence.

As a quick supplement to brett7three (continuing the thread from Annalee Newtiz's post):

Haha wow, sorry if you thought there was any fanboy-ism in my post but you could say the same of yours. I will readily admit I don't have a 3DS, never had a DS, and as I said in my post, "my guess" was that, just a guess. I personally am a fan of good games, don't give a crap what platform and who makes them.

I suspect it has to do with the technical limitations of the hardware. There's probably a performance limit that they'd hit if they went higher vertex count and they chose to go with the reduced vertex modules so that they didn't have to limit onscreen models.

Yeah, it's a shame but in the end the hand drawn animation ends up making the game feel very static. There's no change between different equipment, and as I mentioned, the actual animation loops are very short.

The first fight there was a boss. The player also was trying too hard to dodge. I would have just used guard a little bit, went for a knock down and unloaded. He wasn't hitting that hard.

Actually the battle system is the best part of this game. Well, really the battle system is the only part of this game that doesn't suck.
