Not all dishwashers plug in. Some are hardwired so the circuit breaker will need to be turned off before removing.

In the Suburbs where many Americans live (myself included), you are going to drive to any store, as non are in walking distance. So articles like this are great for deciding to drive 10 minutes to Costco, or 10 minutes to Kroger/Walmart. Also, if the stores are literally across the street from one another like many

Would you be able to do this with a panini or sandwich press, or with a foreman grill? I don't have any interest of obtaining any of these appliances, but I thought I'd ask.

For me, I tried Couch-to-5K, which brings you up in steps from mostly walking to running.

When I did it, I definitely repeated a week here and there because I couldn't keep up with the instruction. A friend did/is doing it, and he did a pre-Couch-to-5K time where he just got more used to moving more. So, be sure to

The Couch to 5K program is fantastic for people who don't run or haven't run in a long time. I have done the program twice. My wife, my brother, and my sister-in-law have all done it as well. It starts you off slowly and builds you on a fairly easy schedule. The whole program takes 8 weeks. The program has

Dave Ramsey's The Total Money Makeover. After 6.5 years of being on the plan, our net worth has increased by over $300,000. (we started in the negative)

My loans are still early on in repayment, BUT I have a plan that works for me.

More than 100k paid off in a year? That's pretty damn impressive. Congrats! Sounds like you guys have found a solid strategy in being super frugal.

Do it anyway! We'd love to see it :)

I had one of these, but it was a pain unless you could clean it right after finishing off your coffee. I used a vinegar soak, hot soapy water and even a small pipe-cleaner to clean out the lid, but it still had "gunk" in there. After googling a bit, I found that the "gunk" was actually some mold build-up. I started

The newer models do have a lock on them. CostCo normally sells the new models every year around Christmas shopping season. 2 pack for $20!

Automatically seals itself when you aren't drinking to prevent spills and keep your drink hot or cold for up to 4 hours on the 16 oz and 6 hours on the 20 oz. And the claim to keep it HOT is not at all exaggerated, I've forgotten a full mug in the car and come back half a day later and it is still piping hot.

That's a recurring question, of course, to which I can only say that people in high level positions apparently seem to prefer Apple products! There's no denying that as far as hardware goes, they make a high quality product. (Certainly that won't be a controversial statement...)

They were busy filling in all the knowledge gaps that they glossed over during the space race. Like, when John Glenn first went up, NASA physicians weren't really sure if his eyeballs would explode out of his head on account of the change in pressure and loss of gravity. They were really only fairly certain that it

Maybe the biggest take-home point is to stick a lubed-up cast iron pan in the oven every time you make pizza or no-knead bread. Put that 30 minutes of preheating at 500F+ to good use!
