God Emperor was a good read - but it is such a tonal shift from the first three books I can totally understand why you gave it up. Have you tried skipping it and jumping into Heretics and Chapterhouse? They are each a bit more action oriented and have call-backs to characters from the first books.

I get that. I honestly thought she was a breath of fresh air. The show’s characters are so dour, even when things are going relatively well. Princess is a spark of light and life that this show dearly needs.

Agreed. Its been defanged far too much, at least measuring by the trailers. My 10 year old just read the 1st 2 books and was underwhelmed by the trailer.

Um, that was definitely Cree Summer. I think Ms. Summer is mixed-race, but she definitely doesn’t physically present present as white.

I agree - 3 is too many. I’d love to see it pared down to two, or to have them alternate and return home for a bit...

I really hope the writers aren’t cliche and have killed off her character. Just when they appear to be bringing her in line with her comic counterpart...
