This is sad. I enjoyed the first episode. I wish they would just drop the rest of the season on the app so I could binge the whole thing. I just hope it doesn’t end on a cliffhanger...

But like, how do we define blackface to get a clear and correct estimate? A range from shoe polish blackface to deep bronzer (IG Catfish models)? Should we include those who dress up in “Urban” gear and participate in “Thug/Pimp” themed parties? I say we define each infraction and assign a suitable punishment...

I finally got around to watching the first 3 episodes this weekend - without my daughter - and yes, I agree it would be highly inappropriate for kids. I think I was taken in by the comparisons to Stranger Things, which my kids enjoyed, but the focus here is more on the adults and the mystery rather than the kids and…

I’d recommend Strange Weather - a quick series of shorts. My first foray into his work was Locke and Key followed by 21st Century Ghosts. I think I enjoy his short form and episodic work better than the long form. Heart Shaped Box was great but could have been shorter.

Honestly, you’re probably not too far off with the whole let’s band together and put aside our differences as we tackle this larger threat trope. Perhaps Megalon or a Mecha Godzilla/Mechani-Kong attack? I just want some modern styled Jet Jaguar to show up at some point!
