I always read Frankie as someplace on the autism spectrum? So, I chalked it up to being a combination of that, being a full-on hormonal teen, and following the pattern set forth by her sister...

Thanks everyone!
My take on this is that both X-Men and FF will have existed in secret all along and will only come to the public’s attention well after the events of Endgame. Xavier lost the original X-Men decades ago and has been secluded and morose ever since - then suddenly Scott (thought deceased for decades) bursts through the…
Following up: In one of the many post-crisis reboots to the character, Billy’s dad is depicted as looking very much like CM/Shazam. So, perhaps adult Billy either looks a lot like his dad, as comic book genetics go, or maybe CM/Shazam looks the way Billy wants him to look, ie, like his father.
Yeah, from what I recall the premise is that he is at his full adult potential (by physical appearance 28-35?) and imbued with magic energies. The thing that bugs me most though is that depending on the writer, his persona changes. He’s sometimes a meta-human adult with a child’s/teen’s mind, and other times he’s a ful…
Any recommendations for mp3 type audio?
Not sure I would call it a rip off of Crisis. If anything, it was a retelling/retooling of the Contest of Champions book Marvel had done earlier. Yes, maybe it was released to compete with Crisis, but definitely not entirely a Crisis rip off...
Thank you! It is great to read a comment from someone who actually read the original work and can appreciate the nuances of positioning Bigger in a contemporary setting. “His lack of self-awareness and inability to think critically in a world where black men must always be hyper-alert make him less sympathetic” --…
Have you seen the film to determine if/how the contemporary setting addresses this issue or are you basing your thoughts on the infor from the review above?

I’ve been enjoying it for the most part. I agree that the pacing is a bit...off. And for some reason it reminds me of both the Guyver anime and the Gantz series...
So, Vikram, what’s the next show you’re reviewing? Or are you done with reviews? Thanks for your work!
Yes! Not sure which version I saw - for some reason I think there were different edits/translations - but I definitely remember this excellent film. Harlock was awesome, impressive, noble and scary. For some reason I remember this film making me very sad near the end but I don’t remember why exactly...
I tend not to mention Star Blazers because I tend to be one of the few who didn’t really like that show...
Didn’t see that until we got cable in like 83/84... Not sure when I saw it but I do remember that as well as Spacekateers and The Sea Prince and the Fire Child...
I recall catching a few episodes here and there. But Space Giants (Ambassador Magma)was really my jam back then. There was also Spectreman (Supekutoruman) and the Battle of the Planets version of SNT Gatchaman. I’ve always been fascinated by Ultraman’s story and design. I was very disappointed that he wasn’t in the…
Query: Are these helicopter people the same ones from like season 2/3? Or was that confirmed to be the military dudes that were killed that season by the Gov?
They aren’t saying anything because none of them are getting much work these days...I mean Robin was on The Mentalist (cancelled) for several years and a few small films, Neve did a season of House of Cards (cancelled), and Fairuza’s last significant work was on a season of Ray Donovan several years ago.
That is completely insane! Building security should have already known you were there and why and someone from the FBI office should have confirmed your ID and ushered you in. No one had any reason to question you trying to do your job - sorry this happened to you.
Re: Fantastic Four - I’d go this route - the Quantum Realm is the same as the Negative Zone. The FF ventured there decades ago and were lost. After Endgame, they find their way back but in the present. So, we’ve got 60s/70s Brady Bunch type dissonance for comic effect, but also some hardcore super science that rivals…
