This should be good - Ragdoll is played by actor/contortionist Troy James - you can see his creepiness right now on SyFy’s Channel Zero as Pretzel Jack...! Unnerving to watch him work!

What always sticks with me is a very OLD issue of Spectacular Spider-man, when Otto nearly murders Black Cat - it was horrible and the most violent thing I’d seen in a Marvel comic at that age. I think I was in 3rd or 4th grade when the issue came out. He’s always been an irredeemable villain in my eyes since then.
Apparently in America, now it is ok to lie and cheat so long as you win. Accountability is no longer a threat to them... Georgia Voter here - I voted on Monday in a suburban county and the lines were wrapped around the inside of the building. I’d say the turn out on Monday morning was about 70% Black/African American.…
Just a thought, as the MCu is potentially moving away from the heroes established in the films, maybe they could be retooling the Netflix heroes for the big screen? Possibly new actors/origins/ etc.?
I notice you left out the Punisher series. Not a fan, huh? (I kid, I kid!)
Quick question, when you purchased your vehicle, did you have a charging station installed at your home, or do you rely on charging stations in your city/along your commute?
Jessica Jones is still viable thought, right? I haven’t watched the 2nd season yet. Was it worthwhile? I really enjoyed the first season. Fingers crossed for a Heroes for Hire/Daughters of the Dragon/Tales of the Immortal Iron Fist series in the future...
Looking forward to this, however, I must admit that I’m a little disappointed that it isn’t entirely a Miles-centric story. Maybe next time we can get movies to showcase each of the characters that appear in this film?
Agreed, it does paint her in a bad light. However, it could be cleared up with some simple and quick exposition. I mean, Supers are still illegal at this point, so she’s trying to protect her family and not being entirely selfish, right? I hope she’s also a retired Super. Wishful thinking on my part.
I’m ok with Rick going, but I’d hate to see Carol or Rosita go. And I’d be especially saddened to see anything bad happen to Maggie, Michonne, or Ezekiel and Jerry. Everyone else is fair game...
Nice article. I remember the ad distinctly. I also remember loving her name. Also, I never read the books. I was hard core X-men and Teen Titans back then and just starting to branch out to Comico and Dark Horse comics. I recall seeing her pop up in Daredevil in later years and I’m waiting for her to pop up on one of…
You’ve been reading ahead - no pun intended...
Sort of a Galaxy Quest thing? I’d be into that...
GOD I miss this show...
Ah! Thank you - adding you to my contacts!
I like it! This take reminds me of Octavia Butler’s Xenogenesis series with Venom being a pseudo-Oankali acting as a third sex to assist with human procreation.
I would personally have preferred a hard R Venom film, but I thought this worked out just fine. Most of the “death” occurred off screen or was otherwise ambiguous.
I wouldn’t go that far. I just hate the “fighting your direct opposite” trope. By opposite, I mean evil version with the same power-set. Its the main thing that keeps me from enjoying Arrow and my #1 pet peeve about Flash. What I enjoy about MCU, despite this trope popping up, is that many of their films have a fairly…
Yep! Forgot about the Hulk-Abomination fight.
Wasn’t bad. My son enjoyed it. PG-13, so no gruesome stuff and no sex. Felt kind of old-school - Spawn/Blade type of film. Only complaint was the fight near the end - felt like the final fight with Black Panther and Killmonger in many ways, or even Iron Man 1, CA-First Avenger, Man of Steel - um, you get the point...
