Unfortunately I don’t know of any of the wagons sold with a big 3.0 Diesel in the US, but a GL/R/ML, X5 or Q7 with a Diesel will gladly offer you both acceleration and fuel economy!

Those you mention are the gas engines, Diesel is another thing altogether.
Not to forget the Caddy, Caddy Maxi and Sharan in between!
I can absolutely relate to that. In my hometown and surrounding area all the Mercedes dealers are ran by a ‘chain’ who’s famous for doing all 5 things spelled out on the list above. A lot of the great people there left for other brands or shop, including the guy who ran the service department at the franchise our…
As in: ‘This aspires to be a real car one day”
Ouch! Glad you’re safe, how did the accident come to happen?
Really? The ML can go offroad and still be comfortable at the same time, makes helluva sense to me.
Wow! It really looks quite intact for a 50mph side impact and also looks gorgeous in blue. Sorry for your loss :’(
I’ve scrolled too far for someone to mention it’s an automatic. +1
No, chopping the roofline - especially in the fond - does, taking doors away doesn't make a coupe alone or every 3 door hatchback would be a coupe.
The GLK250 is a 2.1 diesel or 2.0 gas engine so that would be the GLK210d or GLK200
It is a coupe, compare with the 3Series and the 3GT. About the numbers, well they’re just indicating the level of power these days :)
The Bonneville GXP had a 280hp Northstar V8, that thing went up well into the 150s :)
The thing that draws me away from the Toyota is the bland, cheap looking and feeling interior. I mean beyond offroadability, the driving position and one of the best road views ever, the Range is symbolic for plenty of leather and wood. We have ‘12 TDV8 Vogue in the family and it blows a comparable GL Merc out of the…
If you think a 4Runner matches a Range Rover in comfort and refinement, your expectations are either lower than those of a 40 y/o who never got laid or you’ve never been in a Range Rover.
If I remember correctly, there was a company specialised in Saab parts to make sure exactly this doesn’t happen. My guess is it would be the same it is with Rover, you just tell your dealer where to get them and retrieve the part from overseas.
Wouldn’t have thought that the trailer is that heavy! The Audi A8 can pull 2.2 tons so likely in SUV is the only choice in your case. I know that ML/GL and Range Rover can pull 3.5 tons - Or 30% more in this case.
That’s indeed a bit off, but should still be enough for the Boxster in your picture
That would be a converting error on my side then. I always thought the ratio kg/lbs was around 2.4
It’s a $1.5k hitch, really :D
