Oh my god. I hope she is found soon.

I agree. I think that this doesn't bother me because it was included as a part of dance styles in general - she recognized that hip-hop is a legitimate dance style and gave it no more disdain than any of the other ones. And if the point was that she doesn't fit in there, then is she really appropriating?

Oh, and this video has quite a few POC in it. Like I said earlier I'm a POC myself so I think I always notice when pop music videos are all/99% white (almost all the time unless the artist isn't white) and this one has much more racial inclusion in ALL the styles of dancing. I'm the first to admit I'm a biased TSwift

I think she's mocking how she can't fit into that mold (whether it be hip-hop, techno, etc.) and is making fun of how bad she would be if she tried.

Honestly, the song and video are just so bland and colorless even in spite of the various dancers and such that it's hard to get annoyed at it. I just listened to it and I can't recall almost any of the lyrics.

Yea I mean, most of her music has been pop-country and the themes of her songs are generally always the same. Not that it's bad, but the only real departure here is the lack of a slight banjo playing in the background.

It's sad that we value white women more than black women even when they have swirly fucked up faces.

Now that she got kicked out of the sorority she'll have a lot more free time. Does the Ferguson Police Department have a work study program?

Coincidentally enough "Doctor of Chocolate" was the title of my extremely poorly selling early 90's R&B album.

please, if one of your jobs is a highly sought after model on worldstar, i hardly think your road to stardom is going to be paved with tears. it seemed like a natural transition from worldstar darling to "serious rapper". question her realness all you want, i know i do. and when she talks about being a "fan of rap

Yes, we will do that on the same day that anyone gives a shit about what you think.

This article is completely innacurate. You cannot call Mad dog wine.

I hope to find a love like this one day.

This to me is the most important thing he said. SOOOO many white people think that black people exaggerate or "make up" police harassment. Or think that somehow it's "deserved" because of the high number of black criminals. Which is such bullshit.

Jesse Williams is my new boyfriend. I am kicking my old boyfriend's ass to the curb. Goodbye John Stamos.

Everyone should be following him on Twitter. He isn't being PC like this as other celebrities often try to be.

Can we also talk about how he appeared on CNN in a fucking hoodie? Like, that was a revolutionary act in and of itself. Then he had to gather some folks and show them the truth and the light.

i know this isn't the right place but oh my god those eyes.

I wish Jezebel would stop objectifying him. Just because he's smart and talented and fantastically good-looking with piercing eyes and...Is it warm in here?

Now playing

I have loved him on Grey's Anatomy, but more importantly, I think I fell in love with him and when I realized how socially aware and outspoken he is. When he was on HLN talking about Jordan Davis is a great clip as well. He tells it like it is:
