I fully expected that bubble to burst in 2012-2013 (a few years after the worst when the job market was still crappy and people were already enrolled in colleges that may have been out of their means but couldn’t react to poor job prospects after graduating staring them in the face). I hope people are a bit better…
I initially misread that as being exiled to the Idris of Elba and was like...I’d be ok with that
I believe it is. It was a little hard to find, but this video (which will probably be taken down soon) has the crash at speed at the end:
That would be an interesting approach to take. I like the idea of calling it Quiet Places as a nod too haha
You are right that track days are definitely a good bit different.
I still think that’s a ridiculous stance to take. If you are in front of someone in a race, you are by definition, quicker. It doesn’t matter if you got in front of someone because of their bonehead decision
It doesn’t matter, he made a dumb decision and had to live with the consequences. No racing series is going to throw blue flags for someone properly in front of someone else in a race
That’s unfortunate. I help random people all the time and some of them have resulted in some pretty hilarious stories. Probably the craziest one was as I was returning from a run I stopped and spent 2 hours fixing some family’s car on the side of the road while his daughter played with my dog. When it was done the…
I thought the flashing check engine light meant your car was experiencing an issue right now and that a solid light meant that a code had occurred (but may not be currently an issue)?
Horse shit drive through penalty? For what, the time he stalled his bike on the grid, delayed the start, then rode backwards on the grid to get back to his grid position, or the time he rammed into one rider and then ran another off the track (and crashed)? You can’t possibly call those penalties horse shit
As much as it sucks now, I’d say that was the right decision to make at the time.
We had this conversation last year! :)
I might know a guy who still wants that if he had somewhere to put it :)
My first car was a Daewoo (easy to work on and parts were cheap! I learned to wrench on that thing) that needed a full brake job so I went to a part store to get the necessary parts (calipers, pads and rotors). They weren’t making any noise so I wasn’t in a huge rush. They were supposed to have them in within 2 weeks…
With that terminology would HPDE’s still be covered? It’s not a racing event and it’s not strictly a competition.
I didn’t know Tom Hardy fell on tough times
They didn’t need the hacker to get through the shields. They needed to hacker to get by the sensors so they wouldn’t be detected
This is gold.
