Why not just pick X number of random fans from the event and have them do the umbrella/name thing and get rid of the awkward “walk through a line of women to the podium”

You’ll need a partner for top-roping but most rock climbing gyms should have bouldering sections too which you don’t need a partner for. They are quite technical, fairly short routes that end 10-15 feet above the ground with mats underneath (so if you can’t make it you just drop to the ground).

It’s almost starting to feel like a wacky solution to shuffle up the grid.
