I was going to post "In before liberal White Knighting" but you beat me to it.

Holy +1s, Batman!
I don't understand how it's not an improvement. When I have headphones plugged in now, I put it in my pocket with the headphone jack up, which means I have to flip it over when I pull it out. With it on the bottom, the phone is in the correct orientation for me to grab it already, headphones or not.
That's not how gravity works.
Well of course it's going to use more power, which is why Apple waited 2 years after the tech was available to introduce it. They spent a lot of money on providing the same long battery life with LTE as they had on 3G, and, by some reports, even improved it.
Have you used the iPhone 5 with LTE in order to say that, or are you assuming so based on your experience with Android?
I don't understand the hate. It works 100% better for me. I never one time got use out of Google Maps because I could usually find my destination on my own by the time all the goddamn raster image grid squares would load over 3G.
They must either play a lot of games or are doing it wrong.
It's a tech website?
Unplug your phone for 2 days and text me back. Oh, wait...
This is the dumbest shit I've ever read. Don't surround an almost entirely glass, $800+ object with a layer of protective rubber? And refuse to do so after breaking it multiple times? You're an idiot.
Smurf this franchise to smurfing death.
Yeah, it's not. In fact, it's been my experience that the new HTML5 page is faster. iOS 5 maps performance was atrocious.
What's good about social in a fucking GPS? I've used Waze, but the whole social features thing was beyond useless. I suppose it's good if you like to find out where the cops were 45 minutes ago.
No, I get it.
The price in my linen closet grow room remains stable.
Every time I read one of those articles (on this site, no less) that lists "X number of sci-fi technologies that will never happen", I always think back to when nuclear power was probably on someone's list. It seems so presumptuous to assume that you know enough to say that no future discovery will enable us to…
Watched this while smoking some hydro. It gave me the fear.
I think they made that movie. It came out this summer and was called Prometheus.
This is the perfect intersection of science and trolling. I love it.
