Along with that, you need to make sure the LED portion of the bulb is as straight and vertical as possible. Since you’re retrofitting an led in place of a halogen, a vertical alignment works best with the reflector and lens to minimize flaring above the cutoff.

If the truck is over-height it will change the signal to red. This should give the driver enough time to read all the warning signs as they wait at the light. Then they would turn off to a side street. Of course, it doesn’t matter if you just run the light anyway.
