Interesting regarding the E91 numbers.

If I could go back and do it again, that would have been the smart money for me - but those seem to be even rarer than the E61 535xi MT - perhaps because they’re not insane to keep up with on maintenance. Also, I don’t think I could settle for the regular seats in an E90 again - they’re pretty bad.

You must either have far fewer miles (I’ve taken mine from 160k to 212k in 3.5 years), are much easier on your car, or have way better luck than me.

I really like the rack and it’s modularity (most of the time it’s configured for just a single bike). However, it’s not without its own annoying problems.

I don’t get why all the direct-to-consumer sales automotive companies don’t petition to get a ballot proposal to overturn Michigan’s ridiculous law against direct sales. If our legislature won’t modernize our laws, the people of Michigan have proven capable.

That’s fascinating. I have several copies of each of the original trilogy on Laserdisc (the Japanese Special Collection and Special Edition releases), which didn’t cost me in that order of magnitude though they certainly weren’t cheap, but they are indeed a joy to hold in your hands and watch.
