I had a set of Pirelli Sottozero Serie 2 tires on my E90 328xi. They were pretty much amazing and the perfect tire as far as mid/SE Michigan winters go.

Thankfully it seems the airbag system on the E61 LCI is relatively reliable. They even fixed a design flaw from early E61s that led to the intake hose breaking and allowing debris in that would kill the pump.

Thankfully, I’ve not yet had a CEL on my 535xi.
