We later used them as hunting tools, security vs other animals or people and transportation... even food for millennia.…

Damn I hate this ‘new society’ with all of these people and their damn pets. I liked it when pets were still ‘animals’, lived outside and people were actually more important. These same pet owners will walk their dog down the street and ignore homeless people like they are the animal now.

Queue nationwide ad campaign not to leave pets in cars unattended, spearheaded by your local news because they’ve seen this story.
