you could just stop with half of your first sentence. They had fun! They bonded. Also reshoots are given to every big film.

I’d say if the experience of filming it was fun for them, it probably trumps how “important” they believe the film will be. If I worked really hard on something, put in a lot of effort and time and dedication, and made a lot of friends on the way, I wouldn’t necessarily care if it was considered “important” or a big

Heh. I misread that and thought ‘Suicide Squid.’

Seriously, it’s Suicide Squad, not Lord of the Rings. And what’s with the misspelling, are they hoping Slade makes a comeback? (the band, not Deathstroke)

I’m sure everybody had fun filming this movie, but is it really the film you’re choosing to immortalize on your skin in some way? This isn’t like the Fellowship actors (and one stunt double) getting a LOTR tattoo, that’s a career defining movie, even for the more seasoned actors.

Will does not have a single regert about his actions. I don’t think your body should be a walking jr. high yearbook, but I guess some people feel differently.

We’re reading different comments, because I did not care for Civil War and I was not alone and the debate was pretty extensive and fierce. Also, I don’t think there’s any illusion of Marvel’s flaws and failures, the difference is they a) understand their source material and b) have basic storytelling competency. Not

The average dude doesnt even know the difference between Marvel and DC let alone care. I’ve had mates ask me why Batman/Superman wasnt in the Avengers...

I’m sick of that tribalism BS that gets thrown around any time comic book movies gets discussed. Normal people don’t care which comic book company made the movie, people just want to see good movies.

Can the positive reaction almost everyone has given to Wonder Woman and the Justice League trailers finally put an end to this bullshit fanboy whining of an “Anti-DC” bias. It’s an “anti-shit-movie-that-doesn’t-understand-the-source-material” bias and it exists for everyone.

Sorry, but I’m an Arthurian whore. I will be there for Lock Stock & Two Swinging Swords or Snatch Excalibur.

Because they are! Everyone is silly when they take themselves too seriously.

Lots of people like stuff that you don’t like, and they spend money on it. That’s not inexplicable.

Captain America’s schtick is about the dissonance between the values and culture he came from, which was more traditional/conservative, and now.

Yeah I’d make the Future Foundation a thing, and they have been doing their own work for some time. Reed gets his hand on Chitauri tech and begins developing his own spaceship, the accident happens and now they have the abilities to do more than just research.

I could easily see them working as modern too. Just have Reed and friends developing space travel as an independent Space X type company called Future Foundation. There’d be a reason for it too, considering the number of aliens popping up on Earth!

That works.

Ant-Man seems to have set the blueprint for how you handle a FF transition to Marvel.

My problem with that is that if you’re integrating them with the rest of the MCU, making them young removes what’s most interesting about them when they interact with other characters.
