Ofcoz; its largely in the learned smaller privileged black population; like everywhere else on the continent.

Foreigners are not that scarce in townships. Somali and pakastani shops still stand in many townships and rural areas; not to even touch the majority foreign I shops in Johannesburg CBD.

Your comments about Africans seeing you as less authentically African is a sad reality; but I must say even us born and raised in the continent, but raised in a more westernized class have also had the San accusations flinged at us. Within Africa specifically these are acccusations flung across class structures and
