@Pierce Nichols: Glad to know you see the difference. Too bad most of the public doesn't, thanks to the dishonest word-association game the press has been playing with the P word.

@Pierce Nichols: There has been an amazingly successful campaign lobbied against profiling by dishonestly shifting the argument. The perception of "profiling" has been altered to make people think it always means "ethnic and religious profiling".

@Damagination: If that E-Wagen is actually a converted LP640, I am truly in love.

@ogilthorpe: Beautifully stated. Heart click.

@conebone69: That's not how it works. Antagonizing low ranking front-line bureaucrats is exactly how you change government policy. Anyone who is opposed to their tactics should make their jobs so miserable that they'll quit or complain to superiors. Being nice to them is just another way of saying "submission".

@snownpaint1: And that drop couldn't possibly be due to a more educated public that realizes the risks of rising as a group against the attackers is less than the risk of letting the hijackers gain control of the aircraft? Simply posting "number of skyjackings" provides no evidence that the TSA's techniques are the

@02J: Looking at the actual numbers side by side, I suppose you're right. The TSX does get an MPG advantage, but that's cancelled out by calling for 91 octane, so it's tough to list a single major area in which it's better. It is just such a refined little car, though. I still love 'em, and I'm not a big Japanese

@Jebro: False dichotomy.

Woo! Wyoming colors!

@OMG! Ponies!: You're really stuck on this border thing, aren't you? It's like you're completely ignoring that domestic passengers within the US are subject to the exact same security circus. I know that you are aware of this fact, so why pretend to think this is all about border crossings?

@xavierpoe: Old; bonus points for bringing back the smoking section, too.

@jtrerise: "though flying is not a right, our other rights are present even when flying"

@02J: I've never driven the new one, but the first generation TSX was a fantastic car, IMO. Elegant, but not over the top styling, 200HP, good mileage, and a readily available 6-speed, in my opinion it made an ideal car for someone who has to commute daily, but still wanted to go out to a nice restaurant on the

The question should really read, "What's your favorite racing pass, other than Zanardi at Laguna Seca in '96?". Another vote for Alex.

@Sean Sellek: I am proud of what I've got. I have a big dick, and I've still got a few rights left. I like my big dick. And I like my rights. I'd really rather not give up either one.

@Byron33196: Yeah, last week there was this huge "give me back my Fourth Amendment rights" proposition on the ballot. It was right under the "stop the Patriot Act" proposition and across from a "legalize gay marriage" proposition.

@mathemology: So is driving, yet I still have Fourth Amendment rights in my car. Hmm...

@Jeremy Hunter: "LOL, I'm so afraid of death that I'll give up any rights I have for a false sense of security against the brown people."

@greg61: " I'd rather have a TSA agent get a peek at my junk than have my plane blown up by a terrorist that felt a body scan was an invasion of his/her privacy."
