@krazydonutboy: I want a 1G Insight so bad! It remains to this day the only cool hybrid, not counting Porsche's hybrid ALMS car.

@hawkeye18: Not to mention the conspicuous lack of any Aerbus aircraft in the 9/11 attacks, right? I believe all four planes hailed from good ol' Everett, WA.

To be fair, I doubt the Aveo assembly line workers mind that Granddad shot a few North Koreans.

@Optixtruf: You can't just calculate it straight across like that. Remember, you're converting gallons when the actual figure is provided in miles. if 39.8 Imperial=49.8 US, then a US gallon is smaller than an Imperial gallon, meaning fewer miles per gallon.

I don't really see the problem here, at least not with the airplane. Anybody can build a NACA airfoil (I've done it at my desk before), and 800kg is not that bad for an aircraft that probably has a little over 100hp, although the water cooling on that engine may throw weight and balance out of whack a little. Since

@tonyola: "In any event, the engine speed registered on the tachometer should never exceed 44,500 rpm."

These guys approve.

Well, what a coincidence. These babies do it for me every time.

@Xander Crews: I move that everyone come to my apartment to snuggle my cat!

@phinn: Numbers, no matter their base, are symbols that represent logical concepts. You are not separating the symbol from the concept. That's a pretty important thing to do whenever you translate anything, like we are doing here. "42" and "101010" are two different ways of representing the same theoretical concept.

@Sean Incantalupo: No you are not. I think it's beautiful, although I would prefer a 400GT. Same car, manual transmission.

Haters gonna hate.

@nataku8_e30: That may be true, but I'm also pretty fed-up with the amount of "E320 AMGs" I see on a daily basis.

@LTDScott: Cool, so you plead not guilty, right?

@Elhigh: Somebody's been reading his Heinlein, I see.

Yeah, the rocket's cool and all...

My 1995 900S. It was the most boring Saab I've ever owned, and far and away the best. Subtly personalized with e-codes, european corners, later 9-3 grille and side markers, it stood out and blended in at the same time. It was the best highway cruiser ever imagined, plenty of passing power, 35+ mpg, and a range over

Meh, I've seen better.

@screemname: Do you know one thing that all life has in common? It goes extinct. Do you seriously think that just because humans have survived in what you consider to be extreme conditions (they're not) for thousands of years, that they will never be wiped out? That is the most ignorant thing I've read all night.
