Thanks, Gizmo Media Group spelling monitor

I lived in Seattle from 2000 to 2003. I worked downtown and there really was a coffee shop on almost every corner. Lots of restaurants within a few blocks. Pikes Place Market was always good for lunch, or to pick up something to take home. Mild winters, nice summers. I miss it.

When I was younger, my mother and I would go out for dinner on the rare nights when my step father was working late. He didn’t like us doing things without him, so this became our way of spending time together without his unpleasant presence. Years later, after he went away, and I moved out on my own, this became

They were one of the few veggies I didn’t care for as a kid. They were usually steamed or boiled, and always over cooked. Now, I love them roasted, or sauteed with garlic.

Well, the kids are all grown. The grand kids still get presents. There are five of them under ten years of age. Between the two of us, we don’t need or want anything, so it lets us focus on the little ones. It works for us.

My husband and I solved this by not giving gifts to each other. Now we pick one thing that we both want and buy it together. It might be a new television, or kitchen appliance. It’s something that we will both use and enjoy. That way we both get something we really want and everyone is happy. It’s cheaper that way too.

After working 8 years in retail, where Christmas now starts in September - the only way to make Christmas bearable was to change my name tag to Scrooge and sing twisted versions of the songs. They repeat over and over all damn day, so I had to do something to keep from going completely mad. Santa Baby became Satan

I do love those Christian values...

During the day it was hot tea with honey, lots of water, and whatever I felt like eating, as long as it would stay down, it was good. Lucky for me I wasn’t one to vomit very often. Vicks vapor rub in the humidifier at night. I hated the stuff on me. My grandmother swore that a tablespoon of blackberry brandy was the

Don’t you just love their “Family Values” ?

I use Uber when I’m out of town. I went to San Diego for a long weekend and used Uber to get all over the city. It still cost less than renting a car for 4 days and driving in a city I didn’t know. I have no use for it at home.

I lived through a 9 month infestation of bed bugs. A roommate went to Mexico for a wedding and brought them back with him. We tried everything to get rid of them. Finally a $10 box of diatomaceous earth did the trick. It destroyed the vacuum cleaner, but it was worth it.

It was rumored that Freddie walked through airports with a whip to drive people out of his way. I’ve always wanted to do that.

We pretty much stopped with the gift giving. My husband and I will usually buy one big gift that we will enjoy together, or we put the money aside for a weekend trip. For immediate family and friends, we get together and share a home cooked meal. The time spent together is more important than the stuff that no one

    First world problems!

I wouldn’t do that to a child, though I understand the impulse. I might slam one of the parents up against a wall. I think the very best thing parents can do is hold the other parents responsible for their child’s actions. The instant a child starts to get bullied, slap the parents with a harassment lawsuit, or

I would get migraines about every 8 to 10 weeks. Pain, auras, light sensitivity, vomiting, wanting to kill anyone who spoke to me, etc. After some digging my Dr discovered that my red blood cell count / hemoglobin / hemoglobin were way too high. The solution was pretty simple. About every 3 months or so, they would

That was a rambling hot mess.

NBC said this is standard for high profile employees. I’m guessing they are all getting deactivated or removed at the moment.
