I hate OS X
If only Maps would become more contextually intelligent. There’s a street in LA/Hollywood that I go to semi-frequently, near Hollywood and Highland - Hawthorn Ave. I often use GPS programs just so I can see traffic, in case there’s a slow down even worse than normal.
I have used the AA Extreme, AA Express, and combinations of them. In each setup, the home network was unreliable and glitchy. Switching to some other router to manage the DHCP and network management aspect successfully improved our situation EVERY time.
FWIW, Audible’s subscription is the cheapest way I know of to purchase audiobooks. It essentially becomes about $15 per book, and their selection is huge. And there is a way to “return” a book if you change your mind. My brother couldn’t stand Old Man’s War (I think it was), and had no problem returning the book and…
Two thoughts (many of my other thoughts have already been discussed, so I’m discounting them) come to mind quickly upon review of my history:
I kinda wish they’d had an additional test, where they treated some shirts with permethrin themselves. Maybe the fault lies in the factory treatment? We’ll never know...
In rebuttal, I’ve always loved this non-commercial:
Then again, I guess that’s what some people in the current literary landscape would expect. I mean, that’s exactly what G R R Martin would do had he written Harry Potter: Describe each and every one of Harry’s peers, along with their biographies up to the date and their daily lives, with special emphasis on their…
I guess “old laptop” has a bit more extensive meaning to me. My first laptop from 2004 (HP with a Sempron proc) is still alive and kicking, and actually runs Linux (Mint) well enough to be useful. It falls short in just about every category of the minimum requirements. So, it says with Mint.
Yes, after writing my reply to someone else, I came to your post. Exactly what I summed up with.
In my elementary days, and really all my K-12 days, my classes were always around 30~ students. I only ever REALLY interacted with about 5 or 6 in a given year. I’d know who the others were, and talk to them when I had to. We’d be playing the same sports at recess, sure. But when it came down to it, I’d only ever seek…
Because everybody speaks English. Where’ve you been?
Agreed, that would be best. I had very few problems with MightyText, but I cannot say there were zero. Very few is good, but not perfect.
I never liked AirDroid for anything beyond wireless file management. It was always a bit clunky, but when I had a phone with a broken USB port (I had two batteries and an external…
I used MightyText extensively. It works very well, I think. I’ve been on iOS since the iPhone 6s came out (a decision I needed to make in the effort to generate an informed opinion, based on actual real-world experiences ... one that I also somewhat regret), and I use a PC, so I cannot enjoy SMS from my computer right…
But... beer tastes terrible. And I mean that in the most revolting possible way. As in, I literally (original definition) gag and make a nasty-flavor face every time I’ve ever tasted beer. It’s not a taste I’ve acquired. It’s not one I really want to acquire.
I miss Android. Smart Lock is part of why.
Right now, I’m doing an Apple Experience Experiment, as I think of it. First time iOS user, and I miss Android so much. Smart Lock is actually a big part of why I miss Android. (Smart Audiobook Player, is another.) It’s the little things. Perhaps most surprising - certainly…
If your contract doesn’t expire until January, and you won’t be switching until then, you might get lucky with whatever the next Nexus phone is. But, if nothing better comes out, at least you’ll have a fallback.
Anybody able to get to the running belt on Amazon in any color OTHER than “Rose Red?” (Aka: Pink pink pink)
I’m interested, but pink doesn’t go with my orange camo unitard.
