When I covered IndyCar and sportscar racing, I learned that the truck racers rent the spec-series trucks for $25,000 per two-race weekend or $225,000 for a season. I wish that I could remember the prize money per race. IndyCar hopeful Matt Brabham took his $pon$or to try his hand at this.
