They looked confused about the concept of an offensive line, like they weren't even sure what they were doing on the field. Amazing.

Oh, Joe is such a great choice! I love that movie to pieces.
Oh I think it's great, though I haven't seen it since I was a teenager so I have no idea what I'd make of it now.
That song is incredible.
The documentary For All Mankind restores my faith in humanity every time I watch it.
I watched San Junipero just last night and, trying not to be spoiler-y, when they revealed what they reveal about the two leads, I lost my shit completely.
Oh jesus helvetica christ fuck everything about this year.

It's ok - you can just make stuff up and now and get away with it.
It has my favorite moment in any Kong movie - when Watts is dancing like a crazy actress person and Kong forces her to sit down and watch the sunset with him.
Cool! Are the episodes uncut?
Came here just to make sure you did this.
Can we at least make sure that Sean covers all Trump media stories here? Not to knock the other writers, but we need the patented O'Neal bile to help us get through this.
I've been waking up and spending the first hour of the day in mourning, imagining the worst possible outcomes. Then I get ready for work and reluctantly drag myself in before checking social media to see more reports of hate crimes, at which point I am filled with boiling anger and sadness.
Yes, good point. It is on Fandor now, and possibly other streaming services.
I wonder if Fincher already had in mind what the killer should look like, since Spacey in the film looks not-unlike Stipe around that time.
Gershon is pretty aware in Showgirls but generally you're right - and, like certain types of comedy, it really only works if everyone commits totally to the material in as "straight" a way as possible.
Agreed on Showgirls. And Black Book is fantastic. It sucks that it's been so long for him to get another film out with a proper release. I don't think his last film Tricked even played in theaters in LA.
I absolutely adore The Strangers, which has more than just that one great moment, so I'm still interested in seeing this. I've been waiting for this director to make another horror film for years.
This review gets so much right about how the apparent contradictions in his films is what helps make them so revelatory. Robocop is both a great action movie and a great satire of them. Same is true of Basic Instinct and psychological thrillers. It's not a mutually exclusive approach for him.
