That's a fun performance! I'll take a Peter Lorre-imitating Kiefer over a boring action hero Kiefer any day of the week.

Stuff like that is why I stopped reading comics at 12.
Of course. My issue is with the kneejerk takedowns of her from people who've never seen a movie she's been in and are just reacting to her cultural presence, as per the comment I initially responded to.
Still the only Cronenberg I've never seen, because I despise Bruce Wagner. It sounded horrendous.
Agreed on this. People hated him because they loved the movie, whereas I thought the movie was terrible and enjoyed that his performance seemed to be trying to take the piss out of it.
It's a masterpiece. People will realize this in ten years.
I love her work and don't agree that the films have nothing happening. They just happen at a low-key register unlike most other movies, even indie stuff in this vein.
Please don't be like every other idiot on the Internet and actually watch her in something, preferably not a Twilight movie. She's a fantastic actress.
Now that O'Neal's back I hope we get an update on the script soon.
Love this guy's work and also love art documentaries of all kinds, so this could not be more up my alley.
And more shallow than Seth McFarlane, too. I watched the first two episodes of this show, and then read this profile, and it all made sense.
Absolutely agreed.
Love how the gorilla just nails that drum fill every time.
Famous Blue Raincoat by Leonard Cohen. This came on in a restaurant the other day and I stopped eating and ignored everyone I was with. It pulls me out of whatever I'm doing without fail.
No Children.
He's famous for parking his Ferrari in handicap spaces.
From an economic standpoint, you can't blame them really, but all the same, it sounds like Malick has created something tailor-made for their format, which would not be the case with Deepwater Horizon. I only want to see this in IMAX.
She looks like the love child of Michael York and Pam Grier.
There are people like that for sure, but my issue is that the anger in the film is overly simplified. Stone here, per usual, applies a kind of forced naivete to the film's perspective - it pretends there was some idyllic world we've fallen far away from. It's classic baby boomer nonsense. The style echoes this as well…
Agreed, she's excellent in the film as well. That movie also has the best soundtrack of any movie of the last few years - too bad there's not some official release of it out there.
