The use of Cohen's songs in McCabe is perfect, and a main reason why that's one of my favorite movies.

O'Neal's point about the choice to have the dialogue intrude on the tracks is my major issue with this otherwise stellar soundtrack. As someone who doesn't care for the film, having Stone's obnoxious dialogue effectively ruin the songs really bothered me.

I knew I was going to have issues with Oliver Stone when I realized, halfway through watching this movie the day it opened, that my 18-year old self was already too old for his childish worldview. It's such a deeply stupid movie on so many levels I don't even know where to begin.

Sadly so true.

I'm still amazed I was shown this in school as a kid. But, having experienced that, it should really be a requirement for 8th or 9th grade history classes.

Didn't know the guy from Gimme The Loot was the lead in this. I adore that movie.

This is my favorite horror movie of the year so far, and one of the best movies I've seen this year in general. The sociopolitical aspects give weight to the lead character's choices, but never get in the way of the scares. Great stuff.

Parton/Takei 2016

Tarantino knows how to make a death count.

Those Alderraanians are so efficient, they deserve all that time off!

To be fair, it's a very difficult show to write and perform well, because you have to ignore everything in life that could potentially introduce quality into your work. They must sequester themselves away like wealthy monks!

Zahn gives one of my favorite supporting performances of all time in Herzog's Rescue Dawn.

Not Steve Zahn, who's fantastic in even the worst shit.

I thought everywhere on earth was the place where Mariah Carey's Christmas album is played on repeat during the holidays.

I try to watch Blood Freak every Thanksgiving.

Yeah, this had me at the comparison to If Footmen Tire You, one of the true genuine cult movies. Half lecture, half madness, and unlike any other movie I've ever seen.

Boring wouldn't bother me. They are fundamentally inept.

Can't wait for this. Innocence was awesome and this looks to be even more dreamlike and eerie.

Subgenre, and an almost entirely worthless one at that.

It's Argento's best movie, which is the faintest of praise.
