A drama teacher, no less. This is how he was able to fake Trump out on the handshake: he knows the “power move” tricks.
I had no idea he was a teacher! I know he’s had some missteps but I think that he is a very endearing and well intentioned politician.
I think that, in my imaginary movie, Sean Spicer would be like the opportunistic toady who hitched his wagon to Trump to get ahead but has become the whipping boy and bears most of the brunt of Trumps cruel whims. So Spicey like stages a moment where he acts like he’s figured my crews game out and is going to expose…
I am becoming more and more grateful for Trudeau’s past as a teacher: he has experience trying to convince belligerent twerps to cooperate.
It also sounds like a political version of Mean Girls!
(Mean GOPs?)
I wonder how many people in Trump’s Cabinet or inner circle are basically doing that right now. Certainly I have some suspicions about Sean Spicer.
In my mind I just wrote a political thriller heist caper movie where me and my team of expert document forgers and creators make me or someone in our gang seem like a super important, popular, rich and well established business person who like infiltrates Trumps inner circle and just completely dismantles the…

Say it! I so badly want to understand this urge to immediately shit on anything good.
But what I’m saying is not about whether or not he’s legitimate at all, but the degree to which he is which is exactly the same as the presidents before him (if not more depending on the final numbers).
Not really. The participation rate is average for a second turn in the 5th republic (especially since it’s not quite over yet), so that’s 20-25% that are absolutely normal, it’s the 12% blank/null that are higher than usual which is normal when you have a far right and centre instead of a normal right and normal left…
Turnout may have been low by French standards, but a 65% turnout would be considered amazingly high here in the USA.
I’d say not voting in the open racist and fascist is a pretty good victory for democracy.
I only saw 8 percent of blank votes reported but abstention is a real thing here, my husband abstained, it is a right.
