Yes. That describes it well. I didn’t say irrationally pissy. Just freaking pissy. They’re grumpy and hurt and acting in a rationally pissy manner. But they’re not going to let the UK back out. That time was for before article 50. They couldn’t back down now. They *also* made it clear that negotiations will be painful.

I don’t know that I’d call it weird or gross, but I think it says something that a 20-30 year difference with an older man and a younger woman is very common, while the reverse is rare— and that we as society don’t blink at the former but treat the latter as scandalous if not outright disgusting.

Thats absolutely true but if you are talking about their specific relationship he is her boss and could pretty easily make it very hard for her to work. Or if you are talking about in general (not always the case) but old guys do try to take advantage of naivety.

Mostly it skeeves me because he’s basically her boss. I know she’s “powerful” in Hollywood right now, but once she turns 30, it’s a whole other game, while he will only continue to increase in power and stature.

I can’t help but think the idea of someone in their early to mid 20s dating someone just about out of their 40s is very weird or fucking gross depending on when it started.

If you acknowledge that women have choices, you should accept their choices.

Not the same but I dated a 40 year old when I was 23 and it was fun because he was mature and had good conversational skills and was VERY GOOD AT SEX. Well, the dating part was like 2 weeks and then we just were fuck buddies for a couple months but still. Such occasions are fine in my book.

I suppose “freaking pissy” is one way to describe how one would act when one of your main business partners walks away right after your company had some lean years and was on the brink of dissolving, and did so in a way that was akin to flipping everyone the bird, shitting on the floor, and yelling “you’re nothing

they’re so freaking pissy over it, I highly doubt they’ll allow it to be undone.

But did the supervisor write it in a memo, briefing or other communication...

The Department of Energy has reportedly banned the use of the phrases “climate change,” “emissions reduction,” and “Paris agreement,” which is... insane! Help!

Today’s tweet assessment: wow, I’m seeing some of the more familiar word salad here. I’m not quite sure if the actual typist is getting to be a better mimic all of the sudden, or if himself got his toy back. First one seems most trumpian; two and three read like intermediaries turned something that had been yelled

100% agree. She’s Lady MacBeth, Evita Peron and Leona Helmsley rolled into one

So wait, she’s in DC right now? Is she... [GASP]... sleeping at the White House? ...With her husband?

LOL they don’t even sleep in the same room.

I don’t know...she may be a victim of her husband’s madness, too. She doesn’t really seem to like him.

Karen... Pence...?

Yeah my money’s on the Scottish referendum passing this time around.

730 days left.

“Around we’ve had leaders like Susan B. Anthony. Have you heard of Susan B. Anthony? I’m shocked that you’ve heard of her — who dreamed of a much more fair and equal future and an America where women themselves as she said helped to make laws and elect the lawmakers, and that’s what’s happening more and more.”
