Hot dog, that’s a good looking bike! No more bargain basement, intern-designed intro bikes!

“...it’s really about the sound and the ability to spend thousands on aftermarket add-ons and riding gear (and non-riding gear)“, you say? You just described a good chunk of Ducati riders there. Would a Ducati really be the same without a dry clutch and Termignoni exhaust? And how many Duc riders feel obliged to wear

With your permission, I’ll see to it.

False. That ain’t backwards.

Apparently what works in WSBK doesn’t translate to MotoGP. Boom roasted.

Please tweet that to Bradley. He needs to see it.

Ducati 851 (I think?) - 1:15

Someone needs to shop the safety bits onto the concept bike to see what really makes those two machines look different. The concept has a far more aggressively styled headlight and bikini fairing, a clearly visible shock, high gloss rear fender with air between it and the rear subframe, and an underbelly pan that

Good point. Iran’s gonna get S-300 SAMs from Russia, not to mention other countries in that region interested in acquiring their own S-300s/400s. There’s a reason Israel’s ordered their own fleet of F-35s.

Wasn’t there some talk about the Russians building Tu-160s again? Anyone know anything about this or did I just dream it?

Hey Tyler, is there any chance of getting a Raptor pilot to write on his experiences with the F-22, and what sort of impact it has on air combat today and in the future? FA has obviously had a number of fighter pilots recount their experiences with many of the aircraft they’ve flown, but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone

While it would be interesting to see what it would take to get more F-22s made, I think the overriding factor is it would simply be too expensive, and the US is already too committed to getting the F-35s operational. The real question is, are F-22s even needed? While F-15s and 16s are old, they’ve been steadily

Right, but only about 120 of them are combat-ready. The others are for training purposes. The Russians don’t have any operational T-50s in their fleet, period. They’ve got their own problems. Bad as the the whole concurrency quagmire is in the US, the Russians simply can’t afford 5th gen fighters at all.

Those dang SVs were fantastic but as great as they were, I always wanted a bit more power and slightly better suspension quality. Easily remedied by other machines and aftermarket bits, but it’d be nice if Suzuki would just build an SV 750 with a fully adjustable suspension. Ahh well whatever...

“less draw on the battery, less work for the alternator, longer lifetime for bulbs”? I’m curious to know how much impact DRLs would have on battery, alternator and bulb longevity. I would think it would be a negligible difference, but I could be wrong.

I hate that too, but DRLs aren’t the issue in that case. Having an auto headlight package along with DRLs would actually be a fantastic idea.

No, please, I’d like to get you started on DRLs (Daytime Running Lights for the uninitiated). You realize DRLs are not there to help you see better, no? They’re there to increase visibility. There have been plenty of times when I thought a car driving around on a less-than-sunny-and cloudless day was parked or at

Or the 1812 Overture. That would be just as appropriate.

In fairness, two of them can. Not so sure about Jezza.

Now playing

Sounds oddly similar to the Yamaha YZR-M1 MotoGP bike. Absolutely zero connection, but still interesting.
