So how does a person that has never driven before know they want a manual? I mean I’m not trying to change anyone’s mind. But a manual transmission is really something that has to be experienced for someone to know if it is what they want or not.

If I’m getting worse than 30, just throw the whole car away.
Can we please stop calling cars like these “Holy Grails?”
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand you just jinxed yourself.
Go back to the part about a muzzle flash from a BB gun please?
Is a 90 inherently worth more than an 80? I would say yes, although others might prefer the inline-6 over a V8.
A Torchgate would be very cool. But yes this is the vehicle that will bring EVs to the masses. Not a 100k super hummer, a 70k lifestyle vehicle with odd looking oval eyes or a PS1 render that glitched into real life. A regular ass F-150 that happens to be an EV. Perhaps BMW could pursue an attractive vehicle.

Shit. You can walk to work by the time the engines warmed up... I used to have a workplace close like that. I’d ride my bike, and it took longer to drive.
Per the article, the Tiguan is the best-selling model since 2018. Sounds like they “get” the US-market just fine.
Simple solution: Abolish all franchise laws and allow direct sales as an option.
I’d argue Lexus has to have a great dealer experience, because they’re not exactly competing on much of anything else these days.
