Because small diesels are a pain in the ass to maintain, and are ridiculously expensive. Many people like to lament the days of the old Mercedes diesels getting a million miles per gallon. Yes, they were great and relatively easy to work on. But they also spewed an enormous amount of emissions. With the switch to ULSD

This is my car and the ad is 100% legit (I’m always shocked by how many would-be buyers automatically assume something is a scam without ever bothering to check it out).

Hyundai could totally throw in a proper manual (No other truck has one anymore) or a strong torque converter auto. A DCT is just an overcomplication of both the aforementioned gearboxes, and should just be phased out. Here’s how I see it: Modern automatics are more comfortable / smoother than a DCT (ZF and CVTs comes

This is the one place I would prefer a torque converter. Since this will presumably tow, being stuck in slow moving traffic with a DCT and a trailer sounds like a recipe for jerky starts and overheating a transmission. A few other scenarios that immediately pop to my head are a boat ramp or slow speed off-roading on

This is fascinating - your household regularly takes two simultaneous and independent road trips of more than 250 miles a day??

The Suburban is a huge wasteful piece of shit. Enjoy getting 8mpg while not being able to keep up with traffic.

It may not be the sexiest car out there, but what about the Prius V?

Not good. That's why they have so many spare chips.
