Lexus needs a decent 3rd row SUV.

I’m all in for $1,500. Well half in. Okay maybe just a toe in. But at $11,500!? whaaaaaaa. CP all day, every day and twice on Wednesdays (when we wear pink)

TBH 1st gear is a fairly overly dramatic. Both GM and Ford still, somehow, made a decent $1bn+ profit. Yeah, it’s not as good as it has been but Ford has had ridiculously terrible quality issues with their newest offerings (which isn’t much of an offering at all tbh) and GM had the strikes. So frankly it’s astonishing

I just don’t know if I believe that the reason for Nissan’s problems are its ageing line up. It’s AN issue, not THE issue. The Kicks, Versa, Sentra and Altima are all pretty much BRAND NEW. The tech is decent. The seats are comfy. They’re fine. They’re just fine. But nobody aspires to drive any of the cars. Literally

I’m sure it’s a typo - based purely on the crazy wording in the add! BLUETOOTH BLUETOOTH BLUETOOTH!

Is this another one of those ‘its coming, oh it’s delayed, oh it’s coming faster, oh wait it’s delayed more. You can have it any color. oh You can only it in black. You can have it in performance! Oh wait, you can only get the long range. You can have black seats! oh wait you can only get the white seats. The quality

two adults. three kids. large dog. plus stuff. I’d take a Palisade or a Telluride all day long over a CX9.

I agree. The base engine is ‘fine’ the same way it’s ‘fine’ in the CRV and RAV4. The CX5 has a (very) pretty face and an excellent interior but it’s smaller than the rivals and more compromised. Mazda has traditionally seen itself as the ‘fun driver’ of the pack. The CX5 and the latest 3 turn their backs on that in

If a lease price of $0 down and <$250 a month is possible with these (very doubtful given the probably awful RV) then i’m sure it’ll find a few homes but really...this is a silly car. They should’ve made it a PHEV with more power than the Cooper S - THAT would be an interesting prospect. In the words of some famous

I didn’t miss it. The MX30 isn’t due for ages yet. The range, whilst absolutely fine for most people, will not help win over buyers when it’s over 100 miles less than an equivalently sized Kona for example. It’s a welcome addition but it’s not going to change the landscape for Mazda. I get that they’re small and EV’s

CAN$40K = USD$40K for some reason Mazda doesn’t believe in exchange rates I guess?

close! That’s the equally stupidly named MX30

Isn’t that time...now? The MX30 looks interesting but it doesn’t seem very competitive.

I’m so done with Mazda. I *want* to love them, I do! but they make it so damned hard. The CX5 is bloody fantastic - but a decently equipped Turbo version is basically $40k. The Miata will always be the glorious Miata. I cannot fit in it. The 3 has lost the drivers edge it used to have an is now outdone by a goddamn

Huh? Nobody wants to buy the CT4 or CT5. The should be shoving it in the XT4 and XT5. That would make far more sense than crappy ‘luxury’ ‘sports’ sedans that absolutely no-one wants?

Question. Is Volvo bringing the twin engine plug-in hybrid XC40 to the US or not? I cannot charge a car at home, only at work so a pure EV is not really workable on a daily basis for me, but a PHEV is ideal. Volvo doesn’t seem to want to answer my question and no dealers have any clue. (as per usual)

Hard pass. I imagine the current owner actually wants to have some money to pay for things that kids often need like food. After looking after one of these for a few years, it’s no wonder they’re crying out for a Sienna. However, on the flipside, at least the current owner is used to spending insane amounts of money

Volvo XC70 Obviously. Everyone loves a long roof. It’s classy as hell. Hell you can even get a ‘Ocean Race’ edition so the surfboard fits right in. Those hideous black plastic bumpers can take a beating and it’s supremely comfortable for Brooklyn traffic. Reliability is...well, yeah. At least it’ll cost a lot less

I learnt to drive in one of these. Bombing around the VERY muddy fields of Wales in a white one, with a soft top and pink graphics on the side. It pains me I don’t have a picture of quite how camp it looked. I had to make sure I got it properly covered in muck just so I didn’t die from embarrassment. So I have a

The Germans need a decent selection of mid size and compact EV-SUV’s that have a 250-300 mile range and cost $35-65k. If they did this, Tesla would be but a distant memory. But they won’t. They’re slow and greedy. Instead we get the already outdated $80,000 Audi e-Tron and the aged and ‘quirky’ BMW i3. VW is starting
