I don’t understand. So the plug in hybrid (the T5 twin engine?) comes with free electricity for a year, but the fully electric EV doesn’t? Are we getting the EV before the plug-in hybrid? at the same time? Lots of questions.

To each their own. I second the comments of others to rent out the house for a bit before selling it. Just until you’re sure this new ‘tiny house’ lifestyle is for you. It sounds like my literal idea of absolute hell given that it’s basically smaller than a prison cell but with less bathroom facilities. But life would

Oh boy. Judging by how wildly popular the normal RAV4 hybrid has been…I completely agree that Toyota will sell an absolute bucket load of these. ALL the efficiency, safety tech and space that anyone would ever need wrapped up in a super reliable Toyota package for what? $34k? The only competition will be whatever

I’m into it and I’m sure the 7 other people who will actually buy this will be too. I’m not sure if I’ve even seen a single RS7 since the redesign and I drive through 90210 each day. I have however seen a single AMG GT63S. The odd Panamera.

No thanks. I’m too bougie for this.

I can’t decide if this is completely awful, or amazing....but the Hyundai Nexo is...well it’s a thing?

From a Car Enthusiast perspective, this is a terrible idea, but from an economics and a ‘why the hell haven’t they done this yet’ perspective….VW needs to give us a Tiguan GTI. Detune the SQ5 engine down to still respectable 300bhp whilst also maintaining 25mpg. A CUV footprint with decent capacity - including two

Infiniti, has the same issue as Acura, Lexus, Genesis and Cadillac. They’re ‘sort of’ luxury, but not really. They sort of use fancy plastics and leather, but you can still tell the cheapness there. Lurking. What do they even stand for? They’ve all tried to blur the lines between luxury and sporty and it’s not worked.

I kinda think the naming convention is pretty easy to understand. Especially compared to Cadillac...

C’MON VOLVO! Stop drip feeding us this nonsense. I wanna know when, how, what price and if and when we’ll get the T5 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid or not. Goddamit they’re being slow with this.

I used to live in Vancouver and used both this and the local ‘Evo’ system daily. It worked really well in a compact city (with hills!) like Vancouver where Uber and Lyft also do not have any operations. The cars mostly sucked (those ForTwo transmissions are STILL terrible after all these years and the CLA is also

Poor Mazda. They’re going the same way as Nissan and Subaru. Mazda has an identity crisis. They’ve compromised their sporty driving dynamics (one of the few things that set them apart from Civic and Corolla) in an effort to go upmarket. The problem is, people that want an upmarket interior, aren’t looking at Mazda.

1) Tesla needs to put their foot on the accelerator to get the Model Y production up ASAP. The market is hungry for a smaller ‘SUV’ and clearly interested in EV’s

I vote this MP! for ‘meh’ price. Yeah it’s fine but it’s a 175bhp crossover with weird seats and alloys that are probably going to be expensive to replace. I actually like the standard alloys the 1.6T Sport comes with anyway! It’s a fine price for someone but totally, utterly ‘MEH’

I never got the whole Range Rover thing. Until recently. I blagged my way into a Hertz rental RR Sport and I get it now. It’s comfy. Fast enough. Roomy. THAT ‘i’m just better than you’ driving position. However in the 3 days I rented it, the HVAC stopped working and the screens froze for 6 hours inexplicably. ON A

I’d be really interested to see what the real world ‘city’ MPG is like. The MPG savings seem completely negligible over the standard gas engine and given the enormous price difference...I can’t see how this makes any sense unless you’re covering a LOT of highway miles.

2020 Mercedes E53 AMG.

Yeah I get what you’re saying. I always wondered if EV’s would command the same kind of passion as ICE engines would and given how fiercely some people will defend Tesla’s even in the face of completely awful build quality, I guess I have my answer. I guess i’m just an ‘everyday’ car kinda guy. Wake me up when Mazda

Great write up but given reviews of this have been EVERYWHERE in motoring journo-land for the last couple of days...here’s the problem I have. This car is great, looks cool and is probably the future blah blah blah. But...it’s $150,900 and $185,000 respectively. Because of course it is. It’s a Porsche! I’m not a
