That’s what CAD stands for isn’t it? Cardboard Aided Design
Best. Title. Ever.
I think part of it is costing.
Absolutely no difference between using spacers to push a wheel further out compared to swapping on wheels with a greater offset so they’re already pushed out.
As someone who’s made their own roll hoop, I can tell you that making up cages is bloody difficult.
Just as well! I’ve got ~10,000 so it’d take forever to upload them all!
Oh no Alfa! 232,000!
It doesn’t have 0 meaning.
It’s beautiful :)
I feel like I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life ;)
I tried to pick one but couldn’t decide...
Thanks :)
I’d say the same except I’ve got a non-airhead-BMW-riding girlfriend who wouldn’t be best pleased!
Glad I could be of service :)
Came here looking for this photo.
It’s an excellent idea, but mainly so I can put the top up, seam weld it in place and then remove all the heavy motors and brackets.
A major power increase would bump up the price of the faster version, but you can still have your cheaper option beside it. No reason why the turbo has to replace the na one.
Yeah i can see the extra length of piping moving the turbo to the top could increase lag. Is that really such a turnoff these days though? I suppose it is, or at least every manufacturer's made pains to mitigate against it...
I’ve heard that it’s packaging problems that stop the FA turbo going in. The engine’s so low there isn’t space for a bottom-mount turbo.
