I wonder what a hot-rod one of these with the 4.5l V8 from the Daimler Majestic would be like...

Why did it have to be in production? Now I can't offer the Alfa 159:
Probably better than you think. My mum used to have an old Alfetta 2000 GTV and that thing was apparently rather good in the snow. Transaxle helps a lot :)
Hey, poor performance is still a performance ;)
Awww hell yes :) I love these old Citroens, and the classic car reviews are my absolute favourite Jalopnik articles :)
The biggest thing that pisses me off about BL is the potential that was squandered.
All true. Me and my girlfriend like to play the 'would you rather' game, where we come up with two scenarios and have to choose which one you'd prefer.
The modern driving experience?
This seems as good a place as any to ask it. Does anyone know how much power the S20 made net? I know it made 160bhp, but I'm fairly certain that's gross hp as the 240Z's 150bhp was gross as well (141bhp or 135bhp net depending on year).
Rover 800.
We have a Niva and the phrase 'both shoddy and rugged' fits it perfectly. Like you could kick its bumper and something would fall off the other end, but that you could point it towards a rubble-strewn wasteland, put it in low range and just hammer straight through it.
Not certain they're failing hard. Sales-wise they might not be competing, but that's thanks to decades of indoctrination that BMW is untouchable. They're not. They're good, but they're hero-worshipped.
That would be great :) like the hubble telescope carrying on well past it's designed obsolescence with a couple of clever fixes :)
Yeah I don't quite get that. Why not aim to be the best Alfa it can be rather than go chasing after BMW.
This, and I'm a die-hard Alfa fan.
Good point. I'd like to see even just a flash of data from a weigh bridge to have a bit of proof behind the claim...
Hell yes :) or a set of zoomies. Jsut having 4 sticking out would make it interesting :)
Nature is amazing, and shit-scary sometimes. Check this out :) http://io9.com/a-guide-to-theā¦
Well that's disappointing. I might have been able to afford a relatively cheap I4 Alfa roadster relatively soon. Like hell I'll be able to afford a Z4 competitor, and I really want to support Alfa by buying one of their cars.
Depending on which fish species, their eggs could well have hitched a lift on the undersides of the ducks and geese that have been there. That's one method I know about :)
