Definitely. I'm not going to say that Vettel isn't a great driver, just that he hasn't had the chance to prove that he is yet. He's already shown that one of his old criticisms, that he can't race through the pack, isn't right.

No, true, and he's definitely in the top drivers. The trouble is is he's in the top drivers in his car. He hasn't proven himself in a sub-par car yet. He may well do in the future, in which case I'll rescind my comment.
If this means a proper Alfa V6, then I'm all for it.
Tricky. I'd probably have to go with the XJR as I have an aversion to soft-tops.
This. XKR coupe>XJR>XKR convertible.
Here Here.
Thanks. I do like the green, which is part of the reason I kept it that way. There's just something right about green Jags.
Read my mind. Wine red is hands down the best colour for these. The new bonnet I got was wine red before we resprayed it and it looked drop-dead gorgeous. Unfortunately, I'd already bought the green paint and I've got enough on my plate without having to respray acres of Jaaag. If I get another one, it'll be wine red.
Neat. Variable exhaust manifolds. A couple more pipes and some butterfly valves should sort that out.
You are right, but you'd have to think about how a manufacturer would actually sell a car with and without V-tec. A rough or high enough idle to smooth out a radical cam would be unacceptable to a lot of buyers, and would probably be written off. Variable cam timing lets a company sell a higher powered car by allowing…
VTEC does increase power, depending on how you look at it. Variable cam timing can allow the use of a radical cam profile for high-rpm power which would normally result in an engine that wouldn't idle well or drive at low rpm. Whether it's actually used as radically as that is dependent on how it's used.
They'd probably sell a lot more TCT ones, but I'd hope they offer a proper manual. If not, I'm sure the Cloverleaf gearbox could take the strain. Drive the TCT until it's out of warranty, then swap it over.
