Any child who grew up in a Caribbean/West Indian household has pressure cooker PTSD 😂 I avoided buying one as an adult until I did and then it exploded and the gasket tore. I never replaced the gasket so I never used it again. However, I did buy an Instant Pot and the fear of it exploding is greatly minimized.

That’s really awful. I know how you feel about not saying anything. I’ve struggled with it myself as a WOC working in an all white agency where they feel very comfy with saying racist shit. My values and actions have not aligned as much as I would expect. It’s been incredibly disappointing.
