Here’s the deal. I get to touch you with a sparkler and you get to touch me with the sun. We’ll see who cries first.

Not as hot as the inside of a Hot Pocket, but definitely hotter than the surface of the sun. Don’t let that keyboard scientist tell you otherwise. Probably didn’t even stay at a Holiday Inn.
Isn’t the interior of a McDonald’s apple pie the hottest known substance in the Universe?
Note to self: Never exaggerate on a science board.
McDonald’s coffee is not only hotter than the sun, it’s literally hotter than fuck.
I think they are. I think sparklers are hotter than the surface of the sun.
A sparkler’s 93,000,000 miles closer, and much more likely for a three year old to swing around into their own face.
no they are definitely hotter than the surface of the sun my dad told me so
Sparklers are weird to me. I mean, I wouldn’t let my three year old play with a lighter, yet I’m perfectly fine letting her wave around a sparkler that is hotter than the surface of the sun. Weird.
While lots of folks are blaming Target or some kind of scam, my blame is on Sony. Why the hell does a game come with shrink wrap, and other accessories are in those hand slicing blister packs, but the 400 dollar machine inside the box is protected with...a piece of tape. It should be far, far easier to see if someone…
After years of emotional frustration for River, every relationship first also being a relationship last, a big physical appearance age difference - and an even bigger actual age difference (The mention of her being 200 ears old was also designed to bring them closer together.), and literally having to share the love…
I agree with you on the two “versions” of River, but my impression is that we’re supposed to accept that the 24 years they (supposedly) spend on Darillium changed her into who we see in the Library.
Wow. This was an amazing episode. I found it crazy good, both as an adventure, a love story, and a show pcase for two great talents. Also, I loved the Warhammer 40k armor in the King, and his bathing he galaxy in blood (and in all the crazy worshippers, gamers? supporting him).
I don’t see how one brief sentence of warning hurts you or anybody else, who doesn’t feel personally triggered. It’s just one brief sentence. I don’t usually include trigger warnings in my writing on sensitive topics, but I also don’t think they’re a huge problem if people want to include them. It’s just a way of…
You are hoping to change things by complaining, because you’re mad people are changing things by complaining.
If you don’t like it or need it, then just move on instead of whining about it. No one’s censoring content here. Ugh, sit down.
You need to be commended more for this.
In other news, insanely horrible things happen in Game of Thrones.
Kids enjoyed Doctor Who almost as much in 1978 and the story arcs were much, much less centered on the Doctor.
That's a valid opinion, though I disagree. Honestly, I think they were both better for each other.
Moffat writes really interesting, clever stories. Davies wrote really interesting, deep characters. Neither does the other well.
