I nearly bought a CPO Estoril blue 4 door M3 back in the day, circa 2000-2001 or so! I always loved that color on the E36. I still remember the bonkers test drive I hooned it on, the sale guy was younger and thus game for it. I was thisclose to making a deal but just couldn’t justify the cost when I had so little to

Oh no, won’t somebody please think of the poor, disadvantaged, Corvette-buying, WSJ-reading white male baby boomer.

Alligators are incredibly fast in or out of water, and can certainly outrun a normal human if the motivation strikes them. However you are correct that they’re ambush (read: lazy) predators.

Wife and I saw ACH in theaters (she has a penchant for scary movies) and it. was. just. so. terrible.

The remarkable incredible bit isn’t that the USWNT is good, it’s that the Dotard’s ego means he still manages to pick a fight with them despite the fact they ostensibly battle evil socialist soccer teams.

I love it—even the yellow rims are cool—but that’s too much cheddar.  I don’t know the market for E30 wagons, but I’m thinking something more like 20-25k.

I really don’t understand that dickhead coach’s mentality. Running up the score doesn’t help anybody: your team gets demoralized, and his team doesn’t get better beating up a hapless team.

Reposting, for the third time I think, the same response to the Rays’ woes:

I don’t think the Warriors can win The Finals without KD. On the defensive side: as brilliant as Draymond has been these playoffs, I think Giannis and Kawhi can get theirs against him. DG will need a breather if he’s going to continue to do damn-near everything for the Warriors, and KD is the only non-DG Warrior who

Don’t be obtuse. For one, the Blazers aren’t the same team now that they were during the regular season thanks to Nurkic’s injury. For two, the teams had the same exact record. For three, the advanced stats suggest the Rockets are a better team.

Former college football fan here chiming in to agree. At some point the exhilaration of barely-adults giving each other brain damage for the glory of a university (which should know better) and the egos of grown men (invariably wealthy, white, and old enough to know better) simply lost its appeal to me.

what a monumental breakdown of basic soccer awareness at a major moment.

Righto, fair enough.

But I don’t like how everyone is so down on single dad’s these days.

Just chiming in to note that we don’t actually know what Moore is making. The $570k figure is presumably the salary for his aborted role on the Fed, which apparently would be a pay cut for him. Moreover, alimony in Virginia (like most states) is generally based on a calculated formula. That doesn’t mean judges won’t

W’re not celebrating his death per se, we’re just eagerly anticipating it because the world will be a better place as a result. It’s a subtle but meaningful difference.

Let’s also not forget that after this season Steve Yzerman is gone. He put together a team that was clearly the best in the league this season, one of the best in the league overall for a few years running, and yet it got completely outplayed in 4 straight games.  Good luck to his protege in trying to remedy the

In case anyone’s wondering: of fucking course Swindon voted to leave the EU, by a margin of 54.7%-45.3%. But yeah I’m sure this had nothing to do with Brexit, move along folks nothing to see here! And if you believe that, boy do I have great news about funding the NHS with £350m per week!

It’s not just the new fans that feel this way: I’m an old fan (slightly younger than Simmons, but I clearly remember watching Magic vs. Bird, pre-title MJ, and the Bad Boy Pistons) and I’m much more interested in tracking individual players than teams as a whole. I had a hometown team that was genuinely good for much

Nope, not just you! He’s such an insufferable prima donna that every dumb thing he does—especially when he’s foul-chasing—is schadenfreude so pure I want to mainline it directly into my veins.
