The paintwork done on it would not flow if the hood was matched to the body. You would need to see this car in person to fully appreciate it. The bare carbon weave just brings out the best this car has to offer.

There's nothing fake about that, it's just accelerated. See the episode of Mighty Car Mods where they rust a mk3 Golf and take it to a Jap car show...it gets more attention than the Hondas.

VW hasn't had major reliability issues since the mk5 series of Golf and Jetta. The Passat, to my knowledge, escaped that one pretty well. The mk4 had its share of issues as well, but the mk6 series is running strong.

I think you'll see it happen, VW would be crazy not to take advantage of the mega economy car market we have going here. I would love to see the Polo and maybe even the Up! make it here.
