I think the OJ one is the only overt reference. The Terminator viaduct/L.A. River scene is debatable, because all he did was drive on that section of the L.A. River that a ton of movies have used. You could just as easily say it was a Grease reference (which I don't think it was either). And I don't think driving on

Yeah, I almost shut it off, then the OJ bit happened, then I briefly chuckled, THEN I shut it off. I feel like it would've been a much better 3-minute video. They did NOT have 10 minutes of good material.

All I see to the left of his purse lips is the bottom line of those pursed lips connecting to his puffed up cheeks. It's all part of the same mouth drawing.

Yeah, I think the art has kinda gotten to a point where it's goofy. Like, he gave Gabe these exaggerated buck teeth that just keep getting bigger, and he's been randomly giving people red noses like they're fucking Santa Claus or something. Like you, I think everything in the middle Penny Arcade (say like 2000-2008)

I refuse to believe that isn't actually a photoshopped Christopher Reeve. It's uncanny. The Leia looks slightly different from Carrie Fisher (I think the eyebrows?), but the Superman is just bonkers.

Now playing

He is doing one of these in the air, in celebration, because that's how good it feels sometimes when you win a Hearthstone match.

I know at some point Penny Arcade decided that they want most of their comic strips to be pretty sparse in terms of text, very quick and to the point most of the time. Probably because it just makes comedy easier, and because "words words words" got such a bad rap after Ctrl+Alt+Del became notorious for having way too

That story is so dubious.

They're being so nebulous on what that Star Fox project actually is, I'm still afraid it's going to come out and somehow be a Star Fox-themed minigame collection that uses the Wii U gamepad or something. THAT is just how much I think Nintendo is probably going to somehow fuck this up.

Oh yeah, Yannick is super wrong, Toad's Turnpike in MK8 is terrible. It's just not an interesting track.

Yeah, the bigger nose and eyebrows look goofy as hell.

Wait, where does the 3DS version look dark?

I actually really don't like the look of the new moon. It doesn't look like the moon anymore, now it just looks like a giant head. The eyebrows are too pronounced, and the nose is like two or three times as big as it was originally. I'm fine with them adding more polygons to the nose and the teeth and everything,

I don't think it's supposed to be "3 million Arena runs have ended in 12 wins". I think it is saying that 3 million different players have gotten to 12 wins one or more times. For the types of players that primarily play Arena and don't really played Ranked/Unranked, as long as you look up how to be effective in

That's still only 15% of all players. I can believe it, as most hardcore players of the game do play Arena quite a bit, and once you know the cards to pick, all it takes is you eventually getting some stupidly good Mage deck and then playing it carefully and getting to 12 wins.

You can tell the Naxxramas boss stats are HEAVILY biased by the fact that the first Quarter was free. Because Faerlina is not even close to the hardest boss on Normal, and Maexxna on Heroic is gimmicky but nowhere near as demanding as some of the other Heroic bosses that require a perfect opening hand on your part.

I can't be the only one who read that headline and thought there was some problem with The Evil Within's black bears and they needed to be removed.

About half of the leaders in Civ 5 feel like that. Some of the backgrounds just really don't match the lighting on the character.

So nobody actually thinks this game is worth talking about or playing, right? It's just a handful of games writers in some clique that all thought they'd have a laugh and write about this dime-a-dozen game one of them happened upon? Right?
