I'm not sure the staff have ever even acknowledged it on air, as they probably don't want to encourage its continuation. It only really comes up from users talking to each other in the livestream chats or on the forums, so it's pretty easy to miss unless you spend a lot of time reading through either.

There is a running gag on the Giant Bomb forums/livestream chat that "Brad is leaving", sometimes with a slightly plausible given reason, sometimes without.
No idea how it got started, but it's actually the only "trolling for newbies" tactic I've really seen on those forums/livestreams, as new users inevitably go

How did you think it made any sense to make a Sergey Titov reference in an article about Don Mattrick on a Canadian game show?

Confirmed: literally nothing is too elaborate or convoluted to be considered implausible as either a Valve ARG/game announcement, or an extremely long con leading up to the release of a Metal Gear Solid game.

I wish they would create two words: one for ARGs, and another for ARGs that are just big publicity stunts (advertising) for some other product or event. Some people build ARGs that are actually just standalone things, and not viral marketing.

How does fucking everybody make $20 or more on TF2? All my shit is worth like 15 to 30 cents a piece, and I don't have THAT many items to sell. Or I guess my question is, how deep were you into TF2 that you actually owned that many hats? Because aside from a couple preorder hats, I basically have none, and mostly have

Alright, but didn't the market fall out on that way before the beta even ended? Even by the end of the beta, the rarity of a lot of stuff was dropping and nobody was paying $50+ for foils anymore, nor were any cards selling for .50-1.00 except maybe within a few hours of release.

I've heard other people say the same, and I just don't get how. How many cards/profile customization things did you sell to reach that amount? Even if you had all of the games in the beta, that's not many cards, and you'd only be able to craft a couple profile things. The booster packs didn't get added in until fairly

Well that's lame.

Well, I'm seriously in doubt of Codemasters' commitment to making a rally racing game that doesn't have stupid fucking gymkhana in it, and actually has a cockpit view, so if they can quell both of those doubts, then they're off to a running start.

Ah, I didn't realize that was made by Spicy Horse! Though my small amount of research indicates that the game is still loosely inspired by Little Red Riding Hood.

OK, that's what I kinda thought, except what the fuck does that have to do with the weather?

What's the Weather icon a picture of? I would've expected that rod from Oracle of Seasons, though maybe that's too obscure a reference.

Yeah, for sure, the platforming gameplay and the combat gameplay are both incredibly dull. The platforming is really simple and only has like 2 tricks, which I mentioned in my previous comment. Nothing about the combat gameplay is original or particularly interesting aside from the novelty of "my light attack is a

The Wizard of Oz ends up with the Wizard of Oz and Dorothy leaving Oz, and the Wizard leaving the Scarecrow in charge due to his brains. So the easy way to write a dark followup to Oz is to say "What if Scarecrow is a tyrant for some reason?", and also scarecrows can look kind of sinister (for example, the Batman

The controls were absolutely fine in Madness Returns. The jumping controls were fine, and the combat controls were really quite good. The controls are one of the most commendable parts of the game.

Do you think American McGee wanted to spend most of his adult life making dark versions of fairy tales and classic children's literature? Or is that sort of the path he is stuck with, now that Alice was his biggest success (and had his name directly on it) so it's the only sort of game people/publishers expect him to

It's his real name. It sounds like his mom is some kind of hippie or something.

It is kinda weird/wildly unnecessary that she basically has a bodysuit of pantyhose.

"The Multiplayer is a weekly column that looks at how people crash into each other while playing games. It runs every Monday at 6PM ET."
So sure, maybe this was a weak excuse for an article, but even if Hernandez didn't write on this particular topic, it was still going to be a multiplayer article, and not an article
