I hope this ends up having the mood and survival trappings of I Am Alive, except with better gameplay and writing.

That's not how it works. You came forward with a ridiculous claim, and it's your job to back it up. You can't, and that's certainly not my problem.

Man, I forgot this game came out on the original Xbox. It's just so weird to consider, when the first Max Payne also came out for the original Xbox, but Max Payne 2 looks leagues better. I played the PC version, and it looked better than anything I remember seeing on the original Xbox.

My friends and I occasionally encountered guys who must've had modded Wiis, and could just fire like 20 green shells within 5 seconds, or use stars back-to-back. I do remember one guy who didn't try to win the race, but instead parked perpendicular to the track, and kept firing green shells, making that section almost

Is MK7 full of hackers like Mario Kart Wii eventually was? After about a year or so, things got pretty out of hand, especially since there is no infrastructure in place to report users in online Wii games.

What was the point of bringing up Left 4 Dead and Resident Evil 4 when neither game contains bandits tricking the protagonists?

He was faking his injury as part of the ambush, so even if you misheard, "He ain't even hurt" is the only thing that makes sense.

The likelihood is absolutely zero they will offer you any compensation. MMOs rarely give anything for rocky launches/server issues, so a game like D3 sure as hell isn't giving anybody anything.

Alright, so the more sophisticated marketing, branding, focus groups, and so on get, the more it ruins everything. Even LEGO. Why just make a cool creative toy when you can make small subsets of that toy, meticulously aimed at different demographics?

Ah, my bad. I think the gameplay of I Am Alive is probably the most interesting post apocalyptic gameplay I've seen, as far as resources being scarce, and having to climb your way around collapsed buildings (similar to Uncharted). It just had nowhere near enough polish to make any of it fun to play.

Alone in the Dark? I'm going to take a wild guess and assume that you meant I Am Alive. If so, agreed, it seems like the same premise, only done much, much better.

Yeah, this recent boom in free-to-play games that aren't total shit must be a huge boon for basically anybody between the ages of 6 and 18, who have all the time in the fucking world to grind out whatever resource/currency is important in their free-to-play game of choice.

I think League of Legends and Super Monday Night Combat handle it almost as well, though it is bullshit that you'll have to log like 10 hours or so before you can have permanent access to a character that you like.

TF2 is a weird example because it was designed to be a fully featured game first and foremost, and they awkwardly bolted on free-to-play elements afterwards. There's an element of grind/labour to it (to get scrap metal, all the hats, whatev), but it's so peripheral to actually playing the game, and only really matters

To be honest, Max Payne 1 resolved everything pretty fully, and it seemed like he was finally at peace now that he had avenged his wife's death.

Yeah, if you enjoyed Borderlands, there are a fair amount of similarities to Diablo 3. Lots of grinding and gradually improving your gear as you get loot, if that's your sort of thing.

Bitches love to cosplay as Midna in that form you see her in for all of 60 seconds. And OH GOD the fan art of Midna.

Probably not. Diablo 3's gameplay is based more on grinding and randomly generated gear. Bastion's upgrades were more integrated into the story, and it was instead about finding a weapon and tonic combo that you liked.

I believe every boxed copy activates through Steam anyways (you put the DVD in, but the "CD key" is literally a steam activation code), so you'll be running Steam no matter what.

How so? They clearly put as much work into Asura's Wrath as just about any other $60 game, so why do you think it isn't worth that?
