I don’t think there would be trademark infringement - it’s a completely different market.

I understand the injustice, I agree it needs to be addressed. My point was, and is still, that I was surprised by the actual numbers.
You are absolutely right, by the numbers whites should be number one on the list. The news coverage however is not equal.
I will be the first to say it:
Average distance between stars in a galaxy is about 5 light years, I did a rough count of 3 seconds between some stars that flew by - so that would be 1.6 light years per second.
Oh, and no (even fake) CD drives...
Cars have been hit, so we know - the metal structure of the car acts as a faraday cage and protects everything in the car (electronics, people, and gasoline). The Tesla would be fine too - if it hadn’t been plugged in. Plugging in the car allowed the power surge to enter the electronics I imagine.
I wonder if that would get you on a plane?

Your post is about physical action taken against you, the article is about words. The law sides with you if they took physical action.
I saw a space shuttle at the Smithsonian, very cool - the wing did go up looking like that. They only replaced 30-100 tiles per mission. The tiles were also injected with a special fluid for each flight.
If Google wanted us to have IR blasters then we would have them on the Nexus line... I wish they had included it... the added hardware would have been pennies I imagine.
In the future, you never know. In the article I referenced they were still learning about this stuff, maybe they will be able to make it thick enough to take some abrasion before wearing off.
