At this point the Dems are just making a case for why no one should ever vote for them. “Look, we agree with everything in your party platform, but you have made it very clear that you lack the ability to put any of it into practice.”

Midterms will only give us a way to document the deeper structural problems of the Democrat base and reveal the true picture of how screwed they are. Don’t pin your hopes on them, and be more worried that they might put the GOP into position to literally rewrite the constitution.

They’re going to be screwed either way, be strong and get blamed for drawing things out(though if all 51 R’s would vote yes this would be over) or compromise and end up screwed when all 51 vote against a popular immigration policy bill and then left with shut down blame and immigration failure.
